Closed Programs
June 4th Ceremony

Horizon Institute will not be able to continue its operations for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.

We understand the impact this decision may have on our students and families, and we want to assure you that we are committed to working collaboratively with Duval County Public Schools, Horizon families, and Horizon students to facilitate a smooth transition.

We have established the following timeline for all active students:

  • All seniors who were not eligible to graduate on the day of commencement must complete all courses and exams required for graduation by August 31st.
  • All students in 6th, 7th, and 9th through 11th grades will need to complete all classes by the last day of school on June 4th.
  • All 8th graders who have not promoted to high school by the last day of school will have until August 2nd to complete courses needed for promotion.

Please note that we will still have a commencement ceremony for all eligible graduates on June 4th.
